Jacob White was born on July 20, 1850. He was a farmer as his father was a farmer. Jacob was a successful farmer. He had one of the most bountiful farms in the region. People from miles around came to the Jacob White Farm to purchase their produce.

Jacob White and a friend, Herman James, came up with an irrigation system that made watering the 25 acre farm easier. The irrigation system was used by many farmers in the area once they saw how successful the system was. The family farm flourished for many years.

Jacob married Ruth Jones (8/9/1870). They had seven children, six boys and one girl: Isaiah White (1889), Nahum White (1890), Jeremiah White (1892), Jonah White (1893), Esther White Jenkins (1895), Titus White (1896), and Luke White (1899).

Jacob White owned a 50 acre farm. On this farm, he had his farm land, an 8-bedroom house. Each of his children had their own room. He also had a small school house on his farm, where his children and some family member's children were taught. Jacob's children wanted for nothing, causing them to often be called spoiled. Jacob made sure that his children weren't spoiled, though. They each had to work on the farm and they each had to earn some of the money that they needed to buy none essential items.

Jacob White died in 1953 at the age of 103. He is buried in the White Family Cemetery.
